Ok since this is an artsy/craftsy board I was wondering if anyone here draws? I love drawing even though I don't take art(Next year...next year...) and I was wondering:

If you do draw/paint/do artsy things and such, what's your style? As in, realism, cartoon, mixed media(not really a "style" per say, but still), abstract, manga, etc.etc.

What materials do you use? For instance, acrylics, watercolors, markers(*breathes in scent of expensive markers*), or other...?

What do you draw/paint/whatever? People, animals, plants, non living things, made up things from the abyss of your nightmares?

Hahaha yeah I was just curious. Please respond and let me know!

PS if anyone was wondering(You weren't) I do cartoons/manga, markers/mixed media, and people. Why am I telling you this? Who knows!

Have fun!

I love this message!!!

I used to draw- not that I was ANY good at it. I took a class in college. Had a portfolio. No natural talent at all! It was all realistic items- still lives, etc.

One of my favorite projects is to take a picture/drawing, fold it into squares. Divide a blank paper into the same amount of squares and draw a square at a time, focusing on what that square is (rather than the big picture). Those always came out the best!!

moderator katie-we did that as a class then put it together so everyone could see what it was supposed to be. Wish i could post a picture:)

I do draw alot, and i do a good deal of copyng other people sketches, instead of real life objects. I like to draw with pencil, but acrylics are awsome too.
