  • Song: Hum Hallelujah

  • Artist: Fall Out Boy

  • Album: Infinity on High

  • Released: 2007

  • this song seems to be about how teenage love does not last forever. Some lyrics, such as ‘our teenage vow in a parking lot, till tonight do us part’ seem to prove this. I appreciate this song because it really seems to capture the way high school love is usually short term. The lyrics, “hum hallelujah, just off the key of reason” shows that it is really actually pretty unreasonable to assume that your young love will last forever.
