Welcome everyone! My name is Brian and I'm moderating the boards. Here are a few basic rules:

- no last names, names of schools or cities (but states are okay);
- age/grade is okay, but no birthdays;
- no being mean, rude, or cursing;
- no posting your email address or links to other websites;
- Please read the FAQ’s post.
- If you still have a question, feel free to ask me here.

If you are giving away something that happens in any of the books, please use *spoiler warning* in your message subject so you don't spoil it for someone who hasn't read that far yet.

I hope you all enjoy the boards! We want them to be a safe, fun place to get excited about HP!

Kate, from the Mysterious Benedict Society! I would place her in Hufflepuff.

@Bluefairy427: I see what you mean, but I still think she's more of a Hufflepuff. I would put Reynie in Ravenclaw, Sticky in Gryffindor (he'd be like Neville, the unexpected hero), and Constance in Gryffindor as well. ;)

Trust me, though, the words were on their way,
and when they arrived,
Liesl would hold them in her hands like the clouds,
and she would wring them out like rain.

Still Kate DOES belong in Griffondor. She did climb up the tower. A Hufflepuff probably wouldn't do that. Maybe she should be in Gripphenclaw (a play with words) because 1. she had a bucket that she could carry almost anything she needed in and 2. she was smart enough to get rid of the marbles and slingshot so she wouldn't get caught But I do see how she belongs in hufflepuff since that's where most quirky people go. Except Luna. Kate is my favorite person in the MBS. And I wish they had a board for it.

I don't like the book or the movie, but it works out since she is magic, I think Matilda (from Matilda) would go into Ravenclaw since she is VERY* smart for her age (she is six!) * Understatement!!!
