Scene III

(Merry Men are planning around a table which holds a model of the prison)

Robin: All right, here’s Alina. (places flag that says ‘Alina is Here’)

Jill: And the entrance is here.

Jen: So, we have to get from here to here without getting caught, get Alina out, and get from here to here with Alina without getting caught.

Jill: Ooh! Ooh! I have an idea!

Robin: Jen, how do you think we can get in?

Jen: Not sure, Robin…

Jill: I know! I know!

Robin: Can’t fight our way in, too many guards…

Jill: I have it!

Jen: We could trick our way in. Alina always did…

Jill: But I’ve got it! I know what to do!

Robin: Trick our way in, eh? Guard disguise, maybe.

Jen: Maybe…

Jill: But I know! Robin!

Robin: I know you know me, Jill.

Jill: Spoilsports and killjoys.

(Exit Jill Scarlet)

Jen: Where’s Jill?

Robin: Probably sulking.

(Jill Scarlet  sticks in head)

Jill: See you in the third act!

Robin: Third act?

Jill: Yep, I’m skipping the whole Meanwhile… scene. Besides, I have to go convince the stagehands not to quit and memorize my soliloquy.

Robin: You don’t know your soliloquy?

Jill: No.

(Exit head of Jill Scarlet)

Jen: Well, let’s go get a guard costume.

Robin: I’m worried about Jill. She never ran off like this before.

Jen: She’s just worried about Alina.
