It was a beautiful day here in New Jersey so after her 11 a.m. orthodontist appointment I decided to let my 2nd grader have the afternoon off. Instead of going back to school we went to a tennis court and hit balls in the warm sunshine. Then we came home and colored together. Have you ever allowed your child to stay home from school for no reason at all?
