It is important because everything has to have balance. If people just suddenly started taking over the world and destroying everything, what kind of world would that be? Didn't the golden rules taught to us in Kindergarten always tell us to share? Well, I believe that we should share this luscious planet with the animals. And it's not true when people say animals don't have feelings. Has any of you heard the story of Koko and Penny Patterson? Koko was taught how to sign language!! Imagine that. If only we could see beyond the face, we would be able to touch what an animal is like inside. They deserve to live as much as we do. Killing them, destroying their habitats would just be like them destroying our race.

 

Think about it.

The animals were here first. Heck, we are animals. If we don't protect them, no one else can. I was watching an article on 60 Minutes a little while ago. It was about tigers; my absolute favorite creature. Basically it was about how black marketing tiger skins is driving them to extincton. They went to a tiger reserve without a single tiger; all because of poaching. The reporter went up on elephantback near a tiger, and it wasn't scared of him in the least. So imagine the reporte had a gun instead of a camera...
