It's perfectly okay to say that you don't think a certain ship would be a great couple, but in response to a lot of posts saying that some ships "couldn't actually happen" or "doesn't make sense"... Anything is possible! :) Opposites attract. People can change. One thing that is often helpful in understanding a ship is asking people why they ship that couple. ;) Some people come up with very convincing points- it's actually how I ended up shipping Dramione and Lover in the first place. It's good to try to keep an open mind about all ships, even those you don't really like or understand. Sometimes the best ships are those with the most interesting stories, including the heroXvillian ships. ;)
(By the way, I hope this didn't seem defensive... I wasn't offended by any of these statements, I've just seen a lot of these lately and wanted to respond to them all at once. :) )

you have some good points, but, still. Sometimes the most interesting stories have parts you don't like, like possibly one character is being rude to another character-and on purpose, and no one else is doing anything about it.

@Technologygirl: Hm, that's a good point. I still think that even in those situations, the ship isn't automatically invalid, but I see your point. :)

Actually this post is pretty excellent. Well most of the time I go around saying "I don't really think this would work" and "I can't see them together", but hopefully no one gets offended and this is a good reminder. :-)

I agree, opposites attract. So technicallly if they're opposites and one of them change personality (like you said they could) then they won't be opposites.  But I really agree with you.  By the way, Panry (Harry and Pansy).
