Are you talking about how users used to sign their posts using special effects, like font that moves across the page, for example? If so, kids used HTML code to do that during a time that the text editor (the box you type messages in) wasn't completely working. Instead of being able to use buttons to create different font colors and highlighting (like we do now) kids used HTML to do that and more. Now that the text editor is fixed, we have those automatic functions back, but HTML coding no longer works.
