I'm going to show you the start, and finish it later. Kayla’s Story It was a bright sunny day which did not reply to a new girl's feelings, last year, at her middle school, she had been the girl everyone teased and was mean to. Summer had been a great time, she wished it had never had to end. No one in her camps had known about her mysterious future in her first 2 years of middle school. Now though, summer was over, and the girl was afraid of what the others might think of her. Luckily, she was going to a new middle school in a different town, because her parents had thought her other middle school was not the thing for her. Her parents where right about her needing to go to a gifted school, but they didn't know why she had suddenly changed. She hoped her new peers wouldn't know what had happened to her, but she was still gloomy because her archenemy Sophia was also coming to this town. The new girl didn't know what to do if Sophia started telling the other children. Hope was her only ally. Vietnam was her birthplace, and she had learned a lot, perhaps too much there, and that was what had provoked her to do the things she did there. It was the year 1943 and Kayla, the new girl, was ready to turn over a new leaf. Chapter 1: A new year
